As we conclude our rebuttal of Eternal Conscious Torment, we find a passage written by the Old Testament prophet Jeremiah which bears strongly on this case. It shows God’s Sovereignty as well as his love and grace.

In this short video, we look at Phil 2:9,10 which says “every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord,” and an Old Testament Passage which shows how this might play out in the judgment.

In this next video of this series of just under 8 minutes, we continue to look at the meanings of the words translated as “eternal,” and “punishment” in our Bibles, and how we have been misled concerning these words. This is eye opening powerful information!

In this short video, I show how we have been misled in the Bible passages which speak of the terms “destroy” “eternal” and “punishment.” If we believe that “God is love,” we need to reconcile these verses with this supreme quality of God, because as the Apostle John indicated in 1 John 4:8,16, love is the essence of God’s being.

In this video, I explain why the Pagan term “Hell” should not be dignified by giving it a place in Scripture, and why God would not burn his disobedient children forever as we have been taught.

I am beginning a series which proves from both the Old and New Testament that God would never send someone to a place of Eternal Torment. If you will stay with me through this series, you will learn a lot even if you disagree with me. So here is my challenge:

Stay with me throughout this series. If you believe that I am wrong, tell me why.

Here is the introduction to the series:

As we conclude this series, we must ask: Concerning the traditional view of eternal punishment, does it not in effect chop off the effect of the atonement of our Lord at the knees? Does it not LIMIT the power of the cross?

What about the early Church. Did the early Church fathers believe that God would torment someone for eternity? In this video of just under 12 minutes, we discuss this.

In our last segment of this series we learned that God’s punishment of the lost is for the purpose of correction, and will not last forever. But what about those in the Bible like the Pharaoh of Egypt. Doesn’t the Bible say that God hardened his heart? Does this mean that people like him who were designated as enemies of God never got a chance?

In Matthew 25:46 we see a passage that has been used for centuries to try to scare people into becoming believers. It says:
Matt 25:46 “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Is this speaking of Eternal torment or not? In this 14 minute video, we find the true explanation of this passage.

In the Old Testament, we have a perfect example of God RECONCILING one of the most arrogant and despicable enemies of God’s People – King Nebuchadnezzar. As Paul said “every knee will bow…every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord.” In this short 10 minute video we will examine this profound event!
