Why Jehovah’s Witnesses are in Error

There are 3 Major reasons why Jehovah’s witnesses are in error.

1. They are in error about who God is.
a. They do not believe what Jesus said: “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30)
i. They believe Jehovah is Deity and the son is a created being
b. They believe Jesus was an angel who came to earth and was an angel when he returned to heaven (Michael the Archangel)
i. This is contrary to the entire first chapter of Hebrews
c. They do not believe that The Holy Spirit is a Person but a force like electricity
i. This is contrary to John 16:5-15 which speaks of Him as “HE”
d. They claim the name Jehovah’s Witnesses in Isaiah 43:10, but refuse to believe that He is one with Jesus. “I – I am Jehovah, besides me there is no savior.” They do not believe Jesus was the Savior?? Hmm, He must be the same as Jehovah!

2. They are in error about who Jesus is. They believe Jesus was just a man.
a. “I am the Way the Truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6)
b. “I am the door of the sheep” (John 10:7)
c. “I am the good shepherd” (John 10:11,14)
d. “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35)
e. “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12)
f. “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was “I AM!”
g. I AM, I AM, I AM, I AM! How many times does He have to say it! Jesus is God!

3. They are in error about the source of truth and light
a. They believe that all truth and light is dispensed from “Jehovah’s Organization” i.e. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society
i. The Bible says:
1. “Your Word is truth” (John 17:17)
2. “Your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Ps 119:105)
3. “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12)
4. “The word of God is sharper than a two edged sword…piercing to the division of soul and spirit…” (Hebrews 4:12)

If you are one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, please consider these passages carefully. Jesus loves you! He wants you to come to him. You do not need an organization to approach him.

John 8:12 tells us: Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus can be your savior too, but only if you put your trust in Him and not in an organization.
